Today soft Xpansion is an international company and a high-experienced team of experts offering its own products and services worldwide for customers from various industries. Since our founding, we have developed more than 200 software products and successfully completed more than 250 projects in many countries worldwide. 

Now we are focused on developing our own LowCode/NoCode platform softXspace for business digitalization without programming, ready-to-use products based on it and PDF & Print technologies pdfXpansion for the fill-fledged work with PDF documents and electronic invoices.

Our history 


  • 1997. Line of products was developed with partners: English for Children, Lexikon der Weltmythologie, Die Größten Katastrophen, Computer Anatomy, a family of educational programs Integrated Learning Environment (Mathematics, Physics, etc.). A large outsource project for TEDATA GmbH (Germany) is started - development and maintenance of the software package MDESIGN for design and calculation of machine elements (CAE system) for European and American markets 


  • 2000. Company starts first projects in the field of enterprise content and business process management. Company concludes a large contract with Xerox GmbH (Germany) for development of electronic document management systems on Documentum platform for European customers 


  • 2002. Development of own PDF products line is started. The first product in PDF & Print technologies area was released 


  • 2006. The company was rebranded and restructured. MAUS Software was renamed into soft Xpansion. Since that moment, the development and production of software products began under the soft Xpansion brand. The first version of the PDF Xpansion SDK was released - a commercial set of developing applications libraries for processing PDF documents. Please have a look at the pdfXpansion product gallery 


  • 2007. soft Xpansion launches projects in the field of enterprise content and business process management on the Microsoft SharePoint platform


  • 2011. soft Xpansion launches projects in the field of enterprise content and business process management on the Alfresco Community Edition platform


  • 2013. soft Xpansion launches projects in the field of enterprise content and business process management on K2 platform


  • 2014. The first version of the own document management system sX-Government for government institutions was released


  • 2015. soft Xpansion starts developing its own LowCode/NoCode platform softXspace, for business digitalization without programming


  • 2016. The first version of the document management system SX-Business for business customers was released


  • 2017. The first version of the LowCode/NoCode platform softXspace was released. soft Xpansion starts developing its ready-to-use products based on the platform softXspace


  • 2018. soft Xpansion launches projects in the field of enterprise content and business process management on the Microsoft Power platform. soft Xpansion launches projects using the Orchard Core technology. The products softXspace Contract, softXspace Board and softXspace Archive on the softXspace platform were released. The development of e-invoicing processing in PDF Xpansion SDK began


  • 2020. The updated version of the document management system softXspace Business and the softXspace Credit on the softXspace platform were released


  • 2021. The products softXspace Client Archive and softXspace Procurement on the softXspace platform were released


  • 2022. The products softXspace Contract365 and softXspace Business365 on the Microsoft Power platform were released. The product softXspace Client Portal on the softXspace platform was released. Completely new application family Perfect PDF 12 – flexible technical and sales models


  • 2023. Release of the new 2023 version of the LowCode/NoCode platform softXspace
