X-Road is a centrally managed, distributed data exchange bus between information systems that provides standardized and secure transport for service interactions. X-Road provides a rich set of functions for data exchange, guarantees confidentiality, integrity, and interoperability (interaction) between exchange parties

The Trembita system is based on the improved Estonian data exchange platform X-road (UXP platform). More than 2 billion transactions in the Trembita system have been conducted since its launch in 2020. Today, it is used by 185 state authorities and organizations, 79 electronic information resources are connected to it and more than 230 electronic interactions with it have been built
