Our softXpansion team took part in the development of the electronic services Local Electronic Petitions and Public Budget, which are combined on the e-DEM web platform and created as a part of the Swiss-Ukrainian program "E-Governance for Accountability and Participation" (EGAP), operated by the Eastern Europe Foundation in partnership with the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine and financed by Switzerland. The developed services strengthen the roles of civil society, improve the quality of services and citizens' access to information, and increase the transparency and accountability of authorities thanks to their use of new technologies. According to data as of the end of 2021, the use of modern tools by citizens has already shown their effectiveness: more than 200 local self-government bodies with more than 1 million users have connected to each service, more than 8,000 projects and 30,000 petitions have been processed, more than 2.7 million votes and 2.8 million signatures have been collected, more than 4,500 petitions have received a response from the authorities
